Welcome

Hello! We are from Chung Cheng High School Main (Singapore). As a part of the Chung Cheng Family, we creat this website to help you people in Physics- electricity! We know you all hate Physics, so we are here to help you. In this particular website, we're going to teach you all about Electricity!

Look around you. How many things can you see that are powered by electricity? Modern life is completely dependent on Electricity. We simply cannot do without our lights, televisions, computers, fridges, and freezers. In fact, when the electricity goes off in a modern city there will be a chaos!

All these require electricity!!!

Electricity is a form of energy. Electrical energy is particularly useful because it can be easily changed into other forms of energy such as light, sound, and kinetic. Electricity is not just man-made but also occurs naturally. Lightning, for example, is a form of electrical energy. Human bodies rely on electrical signals that move along nerves carrying messages to and form  the breain. Some animals even use electricity as a weapon.

A wide variety of energy sources can be used to generate electricity. Much of the world’s electricity is generated using fossils fuels such as oil , gas, and coal. About one-fifth of electricity is generated in nuclear power stations, which are powered by uranium. Other energy sources include wind, waves, rushing water and the sun. These are called renewable energy sources because they will never run out. In Contrast, fossil fuels become more scarce, more electricity will have to come from renewable resources.

Did you know? That more than 1.6billion people, ¼ of the worlds population do not have excess to electricity?
